This excerpt shows legendary pianist Glenn Gould with Leonard Bernstein conducting the New York Philharmonic in 1960 in the first movement of J. S. Bach's Keyboard Concerto in d minor BWV 1052.
Thanks for this, Chris. I loved watching Gould- his rapt attention and love and respect for the music just shine. I also love that he is able to play so metronomically and yet with such life and color and flexibility. I shared it with a Bach- playing student this morning and she played much better afterwards!
