See My Presentation at Summer Summit Toronto 2018

I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be giving a workshop at The Royal Conservatory's Summer Summit Toronto 2018. At 1:30pm on Saturday, August 11, I'll be giving a presentation entitled Creative Approaches to Technology in the Teaching Studio. Here's the official blurb:
Explore creative ways to integrate technology into your teaching studio, using a variety of tools and strategies. This session will offer practical ideas on how to utilize digital resources—including the RCM’s iPad apps and online courses—to support your pedagogical goals and create a vivid and engaging learning experience.
Those of you who have seen my technology workshops will know that they tend to be oriented towards the practical. Rather than impressing people with shiny new devices, I like to start with the importance of understanding what your agenda and objectives are as a teacher. From there, I'll be talking on how you can utilize specific tools in order to further what you intend to accomplish in your mission as a teacher.

The full lineup of clinicians at the workshop includes John Burge, Maria Case, Liz Craig, Sue Elliott, Julia Galieva-Szokolay,Tom Green, Sean Hutchins, Midori Koga, Janet Lopinski, Anne-Marie Page, Scott Price, Joe Ringhofer, Elaine Rusk, and Lisa Tahara.
