The Cost of Piano Wire to Rise

Those of you in the market for a piano might want to buy one sooner rather than later. European steel maker Corus has just announced that it will be raising the price of steel wire by 28% at the end of the month. These prices will be then taken on by piano manufacturers and technicians, who will unfortunately need to charge higher prices for their services in order to cover their costs. The culprit? Rising coke and coal prices, which have soared recently.
