The Vancouver International Song Institute is still looking for one or two collaborative pianists for its Theatre of Art Song program which runs from June 7-21. This is a great chance to work with pianists such as Rena Sharon, Laura Loewen, and Alison D'Amato and study the art song repertoire on the stunning University of British Columbia campus. The Theatre of Art Song program will also overlap with the Collaborative Piano Retreat from June 12-14 (I'll be doing a presentation at the retreat--more info in a couple of days).Tuition for the two-week program is $1200CDN plus accommodations. Bear in mind the Canadian dollar is currently trading at a discount to the US dollar, so American participants would pay significantly less taking into account current Canada/US exchange rates.
