Some recent news from the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music:

• Zaubernacht, Weill's first work for the stage, is now available again after being re-discovered in a basement at Yale University.
  
• The Firebrand of Florence, which Weill co-wrote with lyricist Ira Gershwin, is being performed on March 12 at 7pm in Alice Tully Hall.
• A recent recording of The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny by the LA Opera won two Grammy awards.
