Anyone know the location or identity of this mysterious and unique piano? Judging from the background, it appears to be in an art gallery of some sort.
It's a Danish PH grand of 1930's vintage, named after Poul Hennigsen. More pictures and history can be found here and here. Huge round of thanks and applause to Linda for the info and be sure to check out her blog, Lindas Pianolog.
It is a PH grand Piano, danish one named after Poul Henningsen, http://www.antikvarlden.se/senastenytt/phpiano-salt-pa-bruun-rasmussen.aspx?article=8673
I have worked with two of these pianos, some years ago. There should be a special chair to go with it as well.
